The perfect companions to a legendary show

Aside from some YouTube clips, I haven’t watched Blake’s 7 since I was a kid and found that it was now streamed on ITVX.

Only trouble is that I don’t know anyone vaguely interested in watching along and discussing it.

Enter Richard and Dave, the geeky, slightly-obsessed sci fi fans to join me on my journey back to B7, episode by episode.

I could never work out why two Aussies are so in to British shows like Blake’s 7, Doctor Who and the Goodies, but it doesn’t matter.

They do a great job here on Space Fall, working as guides, pointing out all the things you probably missed and providing extra insights through the ‘regular features’. My favourite one is ‘Look, it’s the 1970s’, which puts a lot of the storylines and weaknesses around things like gender and unknowing casual racism in context.

Great job chaps. Please never take this thing down!

Unmissable Poscast

Only discovered this a few days ago and I am loving it, after listening to four episodes it’s now my go-to whenever I have a quiet hour.
The guys are extremely well known informed, critical in a respectful way and always entertaining and funny.
I can’t recommend these guys strongly enough to anyone who is a fan of Blake’s 7.
Eventually I’ll get around to listening to their Goodies podcast, looking forward to that!
