    What does it mean to say that the Bible is authoritative? As we continue our series, we’ll see the Bible is our authority and judge, because the Lord Jesus is our final authority and judge. As the Bible is the words of Jesus, it is the final judge of our controversies, as it judges each one of us.

    The salvation Jesus has won for us is glorious! This passage in Hebrews shows this, as it quotes from Isaiah 35, the greatest of all Old Testament salvation poems. But we’re not there yet! The race is lifelong, energetic and corporate. These great verses give us both the incentive and the means to keep running.
