This week Mike talks about the four-part comic series about Kylo Ren, delving into more details of what happened at Luke’s jedi temple, Kylo’s relationship with Snoke, the Knights Of Ren, Mike explains what “bleeding” a kyber crystal (lightsaber) is and more!
For the best listening, ensure you’ve seen The Force Awakens & The Last Jedi, and while seeing The Rise Of Skywalker is suggested, it is not essential and there will be no spoilers for it within – this comic series takes place around 6 years before the events of Episode VII: The Force Awakens; so as TFA is 34 ABY, this comic mini-series is around 28 ABY (flashbacks between 18-25 ABY).
The Rise Of Kylo Ren is written by Charles Soule, with Will Sliney as the artist and Guru eFX as the colourist, issue #1 released December 2019 & issue #4 released March 2020.
