Gold dust.
This has to be a must on any podcast list. Absolute joy to listen to. Gold dust.
Superb!
A truly brilliant podcast, very interesting and well produced. Thanks very much 👍
Great resource for songwriters
This is a gift for understanding what it is about a well known song that makes it work, be it melody, harmony, lyric, rhythm, arrangement, groove, you name it.
It’s a great source of inspiration - just listened to the ‘Killing Me Softly’ episode and came away with ideas for:
- varying the chords in my next song
- ‘displacing’ the start of a lyric
- dragging a chorus to the start for one of my songs
- modernising an fashioned sounding jazz or bossa-nova song to something only a couple of decades old
