Harriet Hastings created the iced biscuit company Biscuiteers with her husband Stevie in 2007. They have shops and icing cafes around London and work with many iconic brands to create bespoke biscuits for a global market. Their recent accolades include being awarded ‘Best Brand in Lockdown’ in the 2020 eCommerce awards. Alongside her entrepreneurial success, Harriet is also managing director of the Women’s Prize for fiction.

Creative duo and producers Janice Engel and Carlisle Vandervoort join us to speak about documentary filmmaking. In particular, their brilliant new project ‘Raising Hell: The Life and Times of Molly Ivins’ a documentary about a Texan journalist who challenged the political establishment with her razor-sharp wit and outspoken approach. Janice is an award-winning filmmaker and a professor at Academy of Art University, San Francisco, where she teaches documentary film. Carlisle is a born and bred texan and a successful producer, as well as being an avid bee keeper and artist!

Gosh what a little gem finding these podcasts by Stuck for ideas.
The interviews are slick and professional, the conversations just keep flowing between interviewers and interviewees. They are fascinating and so easy to listen too. The topics range widely.
Especially loved the interview with Huna, what incredible ladies Bella and Ffion are .
Well done Alice and Erin, think you’re brilliant, creative and super professional in this field. ( lovely to see two young women in these roles too)
