Miniature masterpieces
This show is magical. Discovered in my middle age, as an exile in London, this show is my strongest cultural link back home. It’s hard to pin down what’s special about being Irish. This weekly ‘open mic’ is, to me, a unique collection of stories that seem to distill the essence of late 20th century Irishness. To the producers; thank you.
Life time favourite
I have listened to Sunday Miscellany my whole life. As a child it was on as we got ready for mass. As a young adult it was my lazy sunday morning listen and it continues to fulfil that role today. It has a unique knack to build out of small life observations and there is a real comfort listening to it.
