A refreshing take on a complex lore!
Jumping into the various strands of spidey history can be daunting, but this podcast does a fantastic job of making it accessible, irreverent and even spins up its own narrative with some hilarious impressions on famous villains. Keep up the great work!
My 3 year old is obsessed with Spider-Man (with some slight influence from his mum *cough* Spider-Man cartoons beat f’ing Pepa Pig hands down), originally stumbled across this looking for something for him to listen to (he’s listened to all the available audio books). Obviously it’s not for kids but I’ve really enjoyed listening to it! A refreshing funny take on the og comics. Relatable commentary and criticism of the story and characters. A different kind of comic book podcast without all the “nerd” knowledge, great for those who don’t necessarily have in-depth knowledge of comics but are familiar with animated series and movies. It’s been great listening to the well known characters origins, comparing them to modern takes we’re all familiar with. It’s up there as one of my favourite podcasts
A hilarious spin on Spidey
If you’re a Spider-Manfan (and to be honest even if you’re not), then this podcast is a must listen.
Classic Spider- Man tales like you’ve never heard them before.
Hilarious, entertaining and the proper Brummy accents are the cherry on top of a very funny cake.
