Dr Ranj on Joe & Dianne, the romance, the upcoming tour, changes for 2019 & winners Stacey and Kevin!

Fan favourite Dr Ranj is with us in the studio as we sum up Strictly 2018 and the new champs Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton! Ranj also gets the lowdown on what to expect from the 2019 Strictly tour from last year’s finalist Debbie McGee, and there’s much discussion about pacing yourself with the inevitable partying… Turns out Ranj lives in the same building at Joe Sugg so had an inkling something romantic was brewing with pro-dancer Dianne...
Ranj also talks us through what happened when the cast of 2018 celebrated Stacey and Kevin’s win on Saturday night; yes, Lee Ryan sang some Blue songs and yes, the odd Steps’ tune did get a spin in Faye’s honour.
Alongside host Rachel Ward, plus the Telegraph’s Chrissy Amer and Jess McAree, our panel dissect the show dances and look back at their memorable moments from this series. But that’s not all, for this final episode of the series, we’ve got some serious suggestions for potential format changes when Strictly returns next September and our panel has early predictions on which celebrities could get involved in 2019.

Stacey Dooley, Kevin Clifton, James and Ola Jordan on secrets, danceathons and strong opinions

Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton chat to us backstage to reveal their dance nemesis and both tell us something about themselves that we never knew before. If you want to pop on The Cure after listening this week, let’s just say Kevin will love that.
Meanwhile James and Ola Jordan have strong thoughts about the Couple’s Choice dances and whether that new category deserves a place on Strictly. Panto rehearsals don’t stop Debbie McGee from being on this week’s panel, alongside host Rachel Ward and the Telegraph’s Chrissy Amer and Jess McAree. We’ve also learnt a few things about 80s kids’ TV legend Sooty, who is pantomiming with Debbie this festive season.
And if you’re inspired to dance from this year’s Strictly, then we meet a couple who did just that. It led them to the Rivoli Ballroom and a lifetime together.

Kate Silverton, Ashley Roberts and a Blackpool ten-fest!

Ashley Roberts answers her critics who remain unhappy about her past level of dance training as she chats to us backstage at Strictly, plus we celebrate her perfect score of 40, the first of 2018. See, Craig has still got a 10 paddle after all.
Debbie McGee is back from sailing the high seas and joins host Rachel Ward and the Telegraph’s Chrissy Amer and Jess McAree to dissect the dances from Blackpool. Debbie shares her insider info on what performing in the Tower Ballroom is really like, plus we hear from a Strictly-viewing grandma who feels Blackpool week tends to overwhelm the celebrity contestants.

Danny John-Jules, Kate Silverton and Ashley Roberts discuss the joy and strain of Strictly

Plus Kate Silverton and Ashley Roberts have a deep and meaningful about how vital the support is that they’re getting from the rest of the Strictly gang. It’s all about the hugs you see.
Host Rachel Ward looks ahead to Blackpool and the Boyzone Children in Need special with this week’s panel of Jess McAree and Chrissy Amer, and instead of the kids’ verdict this week we get the opinion on the dancing from an expert grandma. Miss You

Where have you gone? Loved your class of 2018 podcast. The official podcast is rather bland in comparison. Please come back.

Best one so far

Packed with interesting and funny moments from start to finish. I've been listening all season and this (26 Nov) was the best one so far. This is how a podcast should be done and everyone played their part, but if I could pick a highlight it would be the question and answer session with Kevin and Stacey. Good answers to great questions.

Love this.

So much better than the official Strictly podcast which I enjoyed last year but sadly has nose-dived and ignored the sean(n) situation. Grateful to this podcast for having the freedom to discuss that situation objectively along with everything else. Debbie McGee is fabulous with her insights and humour. A well-balanced, well-informed and most importantly, honest panel.
