Pronouns/Being Non-binary/LGBTQ Issues
In this episode we bring on Jen, a specialist from the Trevor Project, to talk about all things pronouns, being non-binary, and LGBTQ issues during a pandemic. Enjoy!
"Jennifer Dihenia (they/them pronouns) is a Crisis Services Shift Supervisor at The Trevor Project, who identifies as nonbinary. They have been a part of the organization for 5 years — first as a volunteer on the Lifeline, and then transitioning into a role on staff supporting counselors in the chat and text program as they talk to LGBTQ youth in crisis across the country. As a part of the Crisis Services team, Jennifer also supports the organization in training new counselors as they build skills to support the young people who reach out for support. Additionally, Jennifer is in a doctorate program for clinical psychology and hopes to be able to build upon their experience at The Trevor Project in supporting LGBTQ youth."

one of my go to podcasts
been listening since 2018 and its yet to disappoint:)
Love this podcast so much! Only recently introduced but listen when driving to uni and think it covers great topics which everyone can relate to. Great how it’s raising awareness and discussing taboo subjects such as mental health as everyone struggles every now and then:)
Content that gives hope and remove the stigma of mental health by encouraging a conversation. Way to go young people, you are all great and are the future.
