Stumbling across the 1014 around the time of the last year's 6 nations was a real blessing. Can't believe it hasn't become more mainstream given the superb quality of analysis and slick presentation. Translates perfectly into a podcast. Thanks boys!
Quality and positive focused
Honestly the best! They just enjoy the game and are honest without being negative. Great to see excitement for the future. Cover so much material and rarely say a statement without a fact or stat to back it up! Great rugby podcast, And I should I listen to a few!
Simply excellent
Where to start.
So, Gareth and Steve host the 1014 show; a show dedicated to all things rugby. The boys review and preview games, chat over rugby news and gossip, and are looking to expand things greatly in the future, with more interviews and tactical analysis vids amongst other things.
What really stands out to me about the 1014 is the fact it's so genuinely unbaised and completely about the love of the game. The lads, an Irishman and a Kiwi who both live in NZ, have great Northern/Southern Hemispheare understanding and relevance but also a good deal of personal rugby experience - in short, they're both knowlegable and passionate yet not biased to Ireland/ABs.
Furthermore, the amount of respect Gareth & Steve have for listeners/fans of the show and willingness to read comments and learn is fantastic.
In summary, a cracking podcast for the rugby fan. Thank you so much Steve & Gareth
