This is a community for those who are trying to run their first 5k or run their best ever 5k! I was a very competitive 5k cross country runner in high school, but that was many moons ago! Now I have made my way back to the sport of running in my late 30’s (36 to be exact) with the goal to run my fastest 5k ever by the age of 40. I want to share this journey with you and share my years of experience with racing, injuries and more; to help you become the best runner you can possibly be.

Excellent host who has lots of great running advice and knowledge.
Great for 5k runners
I’ve been training for my very first 5k and have gotten a lot of great tips. A lot of podcasts are focused on marathons so it’s nice to have one with a shorter run focus.
