'What did James lose this week?" returns, and Alex continues to get communication from Robert from Kidderminster as well as from at least one one real listener while continuing to annoy our international listeners with his awful hellos.  Mrs ADHD has a cameo appearance...

Episode 46: ADHD and Imposter Syndrome

Episode 46: ADHD and Imposter Syndrome

In Episode 46, the ADHD Adults James and Alex discuss the almost incredibly unresearched issue of imposter syndrome in ADHD. As usual, the world's worst podcast™ includes a sham of psychoeducation on ADHD and imposter syndrome delivered by Alex the Psychoeducation Monkey, James' reflections on imposter syndrome and Alex's reflections on being a sociopath and the usual game of 'What has James lost, forgotten or mislaid this week?" just to annoy Alex. Will Alex get more correspondence from 'Robert from Kidderminster'?  Alex hamfistedly relays our confusingly growing international listener base,  as well as reading correspondence from a real listener.   'Top Tips' or 'spunk trumpeting, whichever you prefer, gets a mention.  Alex hears a screaming voice and James's hair ruins a script full of jokes

    Episode 45: ADHD and Sex

    Episode 45: ADHD and Sex

Episode 45 of The ADHD Adults sees James and Alex discuss the incredibly awkward (for Alex) subject of sex, which can be a problem area for adults with ADHD for many reasons. As usual, the podcast contains Alex the Psychoeducation Monkey's evidence-based information on ADHD and sex, vomit-inducing personal reflections on the subject, and some utterly useless 'top tips. Will Alex continue to fail miserably in playing 'What has James forgotten, mislaid or lost this week?", and will Alex continue to milk the 'Robert from Kidderminster' gag? We read out some correspondence from a real listener and welcome the confusingly growing number of international listeners.  Alex goes red, and James answers a call from his boss.

This episode was recorded on 06/09/2022, before the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

Episode 44: Parenting with ADHD (Part 1)

In the first of a double-fister, the ADHD adults James and Alex discuss parenting with ADHD from a mother's perspective. As James and Alex are probably not mothers, another ringer, the brilliant Jessica, is brought in to help.  As usual, the 'podcast' (liberal use of the word there) contains psychoeducation on the subject delivered by balloon head, Jessica's personal reflections on being a parent with ADHD Tax and also her 'Top Tips'. 'What did James lose this week?" returns, and Alex continues to get communication from Robert from Kidderminster as well as from one real listener while continuing to alienate our international listeners with his terrible hellos.  Alex rubs his fertility in James's face and James's sperm is just 'too powerful' (apparently).

    Episode 43: ADHD and Prison

    Episode 43: ADHD and Prison

Episode 43 of The ADHD Adults sees James and Alex bring in a ringer, the lovely Maria, to discuss the very real and important issues of ADHD and the criminal justice system. As usual, the podcast contains psychoeducation on ADHD and crime, including some shocking statistics delivered by Alex the Psychoeducation Monkey, and Maria's personal story about prison and ADHD. Alex continues to the tired 'Robert from Kidderminster' gag, but also reads correspondence from a real listener. 'What did James lose this week?" returns, will Alex continue his appalling run of wrong answers, and the growing and confusingly spread out international listeners are welcomed.  'Top Tips' is a bit difficult this week but Maria helps out. Alex explains Latin (again) and James's coaching clients self-immolate.

Nicola37 ,

Two for one.

So I’ve been listening to this podcast form day dot. I left my first review last week 🤣. Meaning I am already leaving my 2nd. I’ve actually addressed my workplace (NHS) in regards to teaching more professionals about ADHD. Without you’s I would never be able or know that I am worthy and I should be understood! As we all should especially for our strengths. Thank you, also loved episode 48 love the girls as well.

A home for deviants

This car-crash of a podcast should be avoided at all costs. The attempted humour is atrocious, the hosts present themselves as the opposite of subject matter experts, and the production quality is on the floor.
In short, if (like me) you suspect you have ADHD, you’ll feel right at home.
