DaveTheCrowe ,

informative and very interesting

It's fascinating to see how the old Norse Mythos informed and inspired so much of what Tolkien created. This podcast investigates the parallels and divergences of Tolkien's world and the world of the old Norse Sagas, inviting well informed guests and open minded discussion.

I have enjoyed learning along with Brent Landon who doesn't start from a point of teaching his listeners what he knows but rather sharing with us his journey into the subject matter as he delves deeper into the sagas than many of us have ever had access to.

Not only an enthusiastic student of old Norse and a big Tolkien fan but Brent Landon is also a tallented musical composer and his original scores at the opening and mid points of each episode lend an epic quality to the experience which i have really enjoyed.

Thanks for sharing.
