The art of pivoting: with Steve Deeks Behind the Wheel Life

I am thrilled to be joined by Steve Deeks. Steve is a Presenter, Trainer, Racer, and Aviator, having spent 9 years professionally racing up to British Formula 3, followed by sportscars and US IMSA prototypes, British GT, then one make saloons which then led to a 17 year career within the British Touring Car Championship.
What makes Steve even more interesting though, is the fact that he’s managed to master the art of pivoting – that is, the ability to develop new skills and competencies and adapt when required, to realise his dreams and in line with his very own evolving passions and interests.
Having spent a considerable amount of time racing, Steve is now a full-time Presenter and Trainer, presenting live shows and events worldwide, consulting to major car and motorcycle manufacturers, training product and sales teams and launching new products.
He is retained by the European agencies of Nissan and Lexus as part of their core training team, having enjoyed multi-year assignments with some of the biggest names in the car manufacturing space, including Ford, Audi, Mercedez, Mazda, Jaguar and Landrover.
He’s also a qualified ARDS Superlicense Instructor, having worked with some names we all might know such as Brian Johnson, Lord March, Jeremy Clarkson, Nigel Benn, Les Ferdinand, Mike Brewer, Greg James, Gary Numan, and even some royalty including Prince William and Prince Harry.
All of this, has come about through Steve’s mindset, evidenced by a constant desire to learn and strive to become better and help others fulfil their own true potential.
It’s fair to say that when I began this podcast, I never thought I’d one day have someone like Steve on as a guest. He is literally, the perfect person for this show.
