Welcome to the Beginner's Garden Podcast! This is the podcast with easy-to-understand resources, tips, and information to help beginning gardeners get the most out of their gardening adventure -- big or small. When I began gardening in 2013, I scoured books and Internet resources to find all the information I could. Although good information was abundant, I had trouble understanding all the gardening lingo and sifting through the information to figure out what would work for me. In this podcast, my aim is to provide helpful information while explaining the gardening lingo as we go. I want to equip YOU to have the best start ever this gardening season!

Episode 144 Gardening in the Heat

I loved this episode even though I live in England where
heat is seldom a problem although we do have the occasional ‘scorchio’.
The lessons hold true for all climates and settings. I find the secrets (and answers) to good plant management lie in careful, considered observation, a desire to nurture and science. Thank you, Jill for inviting Nicole to be your guest.

Actually really good

This podcast has inspired me to buy a greenhouse and build a raised bed! Some of it’s not relevant to the uk but all in all very good and very informative. A bit of a religion creeps in but that’s what the “move on 30 seconds” button is for.

Brilliant tips!

Thank you so much. I've learnt loads! From a total beginner gardener in London.
