It’s really good to hear from such a reputable and experienced OBGYN. I’m looking forward to more. Really enjoyed listening to this!
I had hoped the episode would actually discuss the science behind pregnancy weight gain but it only told listeners how important it was for them to understand this, they didn’t even explain to listeners where they could source that information themselves?! Although I feel it’s so important to hear everyone’s honest pregnancy journey I found Connie to be unbelievably negative, even on reflection she stated she dreads the thought of her body changing again if she had a subsequent pregnancy. For a first time pregnant woman who is struggling with self image this was actually quite damaging to hear. The conversation could have been much more balanced if they had also included someone with a positive pregnancy journey.
Very much enjoyed the first episode. Looking forward to seeing what’s next!
