The Choreographer - Tom Jackson-Greaves The Backstage Revolution

    • Arts

Tom Jackson-Greaves is renowned throughout the industry for his creativity and versatility. Working on a wide range of productions, his extensive portfolio includes the likes of Amelie (Uk Tour and The Other Palace), Macbeth (The Watermill) and Priscilla Queen of the Desert (UK Tour) to name but a few. You can see the full list of Tom's choreographic endeavours on his website.

He has been the talk of the industry recently for his amazing work on the socially distanced production of RENT at the Hope Mill Theatre which you can stream online here (only 3 performances left so book now!!!)

Tom is the epitome of a ray of sunshine. His positive attitude and constant effort to put himself in other people's shoes is what makes him such a fantastic artistic. Collaboration is at the heart of everything he does and this is reflected in the atmosphere of his auditions and rehearsal rooms.

It was such a pleasure to chat to him about his career so far and what he hopes for the future of theatre. It lit a fire in my creative heart and I hope it does the same for you too.

If you'd like to watch Tom's short film in association with Kneehigh Theatre, 'The Neon Shadow' (YOU SHOULD!) you can find it here: kneehigh.co.uk/shows/the-neon-shadow/
