    S1E79 - it's time to put Strava in the spotlight. Pay, you say? Pah.

    And Europe is running out of cycling kit. Never repaired an inner tube? Learn NOW.

    That said, while there's less kit, there's still a kitbag. We can't stop buying.

    And as ever, the Velominati.

    Oh, and wildlife have got cocky. They think they own the roads. Err, guys, that'll be the cyclists. Fight you for it.

    And... there's an offer from our new super-glossy sponsor (Cyclist Magazine!) which is in the end credits.

    Pains

    Pains

    Stephen and Raya are socially distanced - and tackling on-and-off bike pains. Caution: not as whingy as this sounds.

    Also in Pod 78: The Velominati, why cycling is like breastfeeding, Stephen's cycling pride, lavish and due praise for DHB's turbo shorts, boob sweat (stop sniggering) and an in-depth look at cycling pains and how to push through them.

    OK it's mostly about boob seat. We tried.

    And... there's an offer from our new super-glossy sponsor (Cyclist Magazine!) which is in the end credits.

    Utter Helmet

    Utter Helmet

    S1E77 - Stephen and Raya tackle another post-Covid hot potato (gluten free carbs, acceptable) - the big helmet debate. As in, the big debate about helmets, not a debate about big helmets. Obvs.

    Also in Pod 77: a love of OS maps, a bit more RGT, the Velominati and Stephen is stalking Raya's Nan. Look, it makes sense when you listen. It all joins up beautifully.

    Plus the giggles. Big time.

    And... there's an offer from our new super-glossy sponsor (Cyclist Magazine yeah!) which is in the end credits.

    Initiation, Isolation and Shed Bike Reincarnation

    S1E76 - Stephen and Raya are remotely Facetiming for more post-Covid bants.

    Today: how the pro world are having their ASSES handed to them by Zwift community riders, how remote working is changing the cycling landscape, the Velominati (natch), how to keep your sanity and bum shape on a 5hr Turbo ride (it's not just Zwift guys), our essential tips for new cyclists and... the shed bike: from 12kg paperweight to greatest invention of all time.

    Cycling; the Perfect Holiday (and intro to cycling)

    * Recorded pre-Pandemic *

    S1E75 - Stephen and Raya reverse the banterbus into Podcast towers with our spikiest episode for months. Raya DNFing Ride London? Check. Stephen panting like a hot elderly dog? Check.

    Expect misty-eyed whimsy: why childhood cycling passion determines your two-wheeled approach to your adult life.

    And cycling holidays. Andy at Flexitreks has been travel agenting for decades, and he explains how it bike hols differ.

    Plus Velominati. swearing & unnecessarily loud laughter.

    A Question of Sportive

    A Question of Sportive

    * Recorded pre-Pandemic *

    S1E74 - Stephen and Raya sit alongside eachother (for the last time in a long time) and examine badly executed Cross training and the sports that benefit from cycling, and vice versa. You'll be amazed.

    But we're all about cycling; we talk to Rupert Rivett, who has been running Sportives since they were invented (fact), and learn the definitive difference between a Sportive and Audax. Think you know? Wrong.

    Plus terrible accents & unnecessary meanness about Hovding. Again.

Helmet Episode

The most depressingly ill-informed discussion of the helmet issue I’ve ever heard that didn’t involve two taxi drivers
