It’s Christmas time and volunteer Nora and her Neighbour meet once again at a rather unusual place where they not only discuss cheesy Christmas films but also the common ground of A Castle for Christmas, Madonna’s music video Like a Prayer and a classic called Mega Python vs. Gatoroid. Merry Christmas…and keep your eyes and ears open for a potential upcoming flute album and a Christmas movie masterpiece written by a random Hallmark movie writer…with the help of our two protagonists.

The second of a series in which volunteers Maria and Charlotte discuss two films to which they have introduced each other. Mainly focusing on horror and thriller films, with plenty of trivia thrown in for good measure.

In this episode, Maria and Charlotte discuss the film Raw (introduced by Charlotte) by the French director ‎Julia Ducournau and Ravenous (introduced by Maria) by the British director Antonia Bird. The episode's theme is Cannibalism.

It’s been a while since the last “My Neighbour Recommends” episode. Rumors say it was due to volunteer Nora not feeling her usual self after visiting her Neighbour in that rather spooky castle for the Halloween Podcast. Anyway, this episode marks a special occasion: having visited her Neighbour only in special places before, Nora is meeting him in an even more spectacular place this time: his very own flat!

After recently attending an advance screening of the film hosted by The Final Girls Berlin, Charlotte and Maria decided to weigh in on the controversial new film. Said by many to be "the most messed up film ever", as fans of horror Charlotte and Maria were intrigued and felt driven to watch the film and then share their own opinions on it.

In this Halloween episode, volunteer Nora visits her Neighbour in a remote castle, where he is currently working as a mobile hair and nail stylist to a “person” called The Count. Prepare for a spooky episode as they are talking about dark castle films such as Stuart Gordon’s Castle Freak and Peter Medak’s The Changeling.
