We finish our first round of the tDiE Bookclub reading the third part of City of Bones and find ourselves in the rather unhappy position of agreeing with all of the villain, for almost all of the end of the book. Huh. That was unexpected!
Next week we will be discussing The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones, the film and the week after that we finally have our adaptations chat. If you have anything to throw into that conversation, please message us now! We'd love to hear from you.

Anya, ,

very entertaining podcast!

consistent uploads, intriguing content, several opinions and a great sense of humour! what’s not to love?

honestly, check them out!

hooked! they have regular uploads, so theres new content every week. and boy, is it good content! they have a critical beat-by-beat analasis, but you can tell that they love the media theyre consuming very much from the adoration of characters and the way they always aproach it with respect. they touch on serious topics alongside lighter ones, often insightful comments and always give me something different to think about. their 'extra' episodes are perfect for a bit of light listening and i always have a few downloaded for those journeys where you dont really want to think. it's detailed, funny and always entertaining- perfect to liven up long commutes, or just to listen to at home. the hosts themselves, ruth and michelle are kind, funny and lovely people to reach out to and they have a number of ways to access them. they take in listener ideas, have fun ways of involving the audience, and every episode is amazing. plus, the cover art is always goergeous, and the intro music sounds pretty cool, too- what's not to love! i highly, highly reccomend listening- you wont regret it!

GCSEs are made a tad easier with a great podcast in the background!

So I was planning to post a review after I finished my GCSEs, but my sudden realisation that I am most likely going to run out of episodes of this podcast to listen to before my last exam on June 14th has prompted me to do so early.... this podcast has gotten me through weeks on weeks of GCSE studying, and as I have quite a lack of friends to talk to about this TV show I’m so passionate about, it’s been such a wonderful way to hear thoughts I can relate to and thoughts which expand my love for the show as they give me new ideas or things I didn’t pick up on. It’s a shame that soon enough I may run out of episodes to binge as I flick through biology notes, but I’ll certainly be tuning in for any episodes to come! A great podcast and even if I fail my GCSEs miserably, at least something good came of all this time!

(pretty insane quite how many hours of you guys talking I’ve listened to now but let’s not think about it too much or it gets scary)
