Inspiring interview with Shawn Stevenson
After purchasing and reading (twice) The Plant Paradox, I am now a devotee of Dr Steven Gundry's lifestyle message and his podcasts. Today's interview was fascinating in terms of what nutritional nonsense we have been fed over the last while, and every week I look forward to what new information I can glean and educate myself with - here over the Atlantic in the UK.
I am particularly keen to find my family an (affordable) source of unfarmed fish, and now go to my local fish shop which brings in a catch that is sustainably caught. Thank you Dr G for transforming my fitness, weight and knowledge about food and the gut microbiome.
So interesting always.
Standing doing the ironing watching the podcast is my favourite way of educating
My mind. Turns a boring task into brain food.
Great interviews but I want more
Hi Dr. Gandry,
I really appreciate your podcast but I miss a bit more of European perspective, as here we do eat slightly different.
So would be nice to have another interview with Dr. Longo (specially if he can extend a bit on the breakfast and fasting - why breakfast is so important? and why 12-13h fasting is the sweet point?).
On top of that, would be great if you could invite Michael Mosley (the BBC Dr that created the 5:2 diet) also (maybe) in a separate interview his wife, as Claire is still a GP in the Uk. Another suggestion is Mosley book peer mimi spencer (that is not a Dr but would have an interesting female perspective).
Lastly, but not less important would be great to tackle Brexit - I know is a bit of politics but this unwanted exit will push the UK to eat less European goods and increase the intake of american food which We are very pessimist about...
I know I am asking a lot but if you would like to improve I feel this is one of the ways... I can suggest more if you like!
Greetings from London,
