I had the opportunity to hear Anthony Thomas, PhD, speak in Toronto about the efficacy of probiotic supplements. From his doctorate and post doc research in Nutritional Biology and now as the Director of Scientific Affairs for Jarrow Formulas, Dr. Thomas evaluates and manages research activities related to product formulations. This research focuses on dosing and usage recommendations to reflect scientifically supported benefits for health and product use.
