The Emerging Tech Series with Tom Clark, Field CTO of Hyperexponential The Leadership in Insurance Podcast - Insurtech & Innovation

    • Technology

Delighted to have Tom Clark, Field CTO of hyperexponential on the podcast this week 🎤
Tom walks us through his role and provides an interesting insight into his evolving role from being a traditional CTO to a "Field CTO".
We got a great insight into how hyperexponential's platform is revolutionizing the traditional actuarial modeling process, and why after 7 years Tom and the team have decided to shift the technology strategy.
hyperexponential (hx) a startup that serves the property-casualty insurance industry with decision intelligence for pricing.
Their Pricing Decision Intelligence platform - hx Renew, provides insurers with the ability to leverage large and alternative datasets, develop and refine rating tools rapidly, employ machine learning approaches to price risk, and ultimately make data-driven pricing decisions at the portfolio and individual level.
Since being founded in 2017, the company has grown 10x while staying profitable and is now expanding beyond the current operations in the UK over to the US, off the back of their $73 million Series B equity round of funding 💸
Tom thank you for joining me, it was a lot of fun 👏
