Energy Matters: In the Classroom with Robin Berlinsky

The Emotionality of Teaching and Learning

Teaching was hard before the pandemic, now it's even harder!  Collective energy matters!

ABC News recently reported more than three-quarters of the states are experiencing a teacher shortage, highlighting a growing concern among public education and government officials.

Stephanie Bacon is a mother, an educator, and a researcher. She has spent over 20 years in the K-12 educational setting, primarily as a classroom teacher, and also as an instructional coach and association president. Currently, Stephanie is completing her doctorate at the University of Nevada, Reno by researching the role of social and emotional competence and authenticity in the classroom. She also offers authenticity workshops and coaching for large groups and organizations with her business partner, Karen Caton-Brunnings.

SEL (social emotional learning) is not new.  It's the process of developing the self-awareness, self-control, and interpersonal skills that are vital to school, work, and life success.  Stephanie is full of life-changing information for educators and school administrators - WOOHOO!
