This was a great question from a client recently; and a common one too, a Montessori Education isn't accessible to everyone (yet), logistically, financially, physically, so how can we live by these beautiful values even if they are not being echoed at school? In this session we dove deep into 3 ways we can cultivate a Montessori mindset and live a Montessori way of life; regardless of the schooling system that our child is in. 1)’Follow the child’, follow their natural development, nurture their uniqueness. 2) Nurturing autonomy, preparing a simple, ordered and accessible home, treading lightly on our beautiful planet, the interdependence of all things, deep respect of self and others. 3) The Spiritual Preparation of the Adult - nurturing ourselves, understanding ourselves, healing ourselves so we can gift all of this to our children.
