The Film Reroll

We take famous movies and play through them as if they were a role playing game. Instead of all those pesky writers carefully crafting a plot, we let the dice decide and go from there. Inevitably it all goes completely off the rails. Created by Paulo Quiros. With Joz Vammer, Andy Hoover, Scott Aiello, Jon Miller, Kara Strait, Carolyn Faye Kramer, Lisa Kopitsky and many more special guests.

So funny and entertaining

I’ve been listening to the Film Reroll for a few years now and it’s become one of my favourite podcasts! They are just so funny and clever. You can tell that everyone are having a blast in the games which really comes across. I’ve listened to quite a few rerolls for movies I’ve never even seen and now I don’t want to watch the actual movie because I love the reroll of it so much! Please keep making these! And please find a way to do Lord of the Rings - if you can do Memento and kill it you can do LoTR!
The podcast that got me in to podcasts

This was the first ever podcast I listened to and I should be ashamed of myself for how long it’s taken me to review. With a fantastic rotating cast or professional actors and one of the best premises I’ve come across, this podcast is a must for everyone.
My favourite thing to listen to

Hugely recommended podcast. For first time listeners, I’d suggest Speed & Jumanji to start, good examples of how the whole thing works (and how it can go wrong in an amusing way). Jurassic Park is a personal favourite but so far I have not listened to an episode that hasn’t gripped me throughout (I’ve listened to all but 3). I look forward to traffic jams and long journeys because of these amazing people. When I get a spare bit of money I will become a Patreon Supporter to try and somehow repay you guys for so much entertainment. Keep up the great work and please never stop!!
Overall great podcast, some problems later on I find

Firstly, just in case anyone from the show ever reads this, I love the programme and any criticisms come from love. When I first started listening to this show, I thought I had found it; the perfect show. Great voice talent with personality by the bucketload and quality content in all technical and creative areas “behind the scenes” as it were. None of that has changed from start till present June 2019. However, over time I’ve got the feeling (a feeling that I have solidified by going back and relistening to old episodes) that as it’s all gotten a bit more routine for the main cast, things have gotten a little sloppy. I love Paulo in so many ways but a disciplinarian he is not and that has led to many gritted teeth moments where I have to pause and move on for a bit because the scene dissolved into a mess of chatter that really raises the ol’ hackles. A little bit of off-topic, great but minutes on end of it, not what I’m here for. Actor wise Andy Hoover and Scott Aiello always make for great listening imo, superb character work and witty humour. Personally I find Pitr and Joz a bit much at times but that’s just me. If you like a louder personality, you may have the opposite opinion.
