Craig Roberts talks The Phantom of the Open, Acting, Directing, Screenwriting & Filmd with co-owner Craig Heyworth The Filmmakers Podcast

    • Film Interviews

Today, we welcome not just one amazing Craig, but TWO fantastic Craigs: actor, director, and writer Craig Roberts who worked on films like Submarine (2010), 22 Jump Street (2014), Just Jim (2015), Tolkien (2019), Eternal Beauty (2019), The Phantom of The Open (2021), and many more; and actor Craig Heyworth, who starred in films like Eternal Beauty (2019) or The Return of the Yuletide Kid (2019). Together, they founded a new platform for filmmakers called Filmd.
They sat down with our host, Giles Alderson, to chat about how Filmd came about, what it’s about, and how you can sign up for free today. But they also talked about Eternal Beauty and their latest feature film The Phantom of the Open, starring Mark Rylance, Ian Porter, and Sally Hawkins. They discussed screenwriting, directing actors, tips and tricks for your life on set, and dealing with bad reviews.
We had a blast chatting away with the two Craigs. So sit back, relax and listen to this week’s episode with the fantastic Craig Roberts & Craig Heyworth.
