Why do we need the Forum for Advanced Thinking? Ask yourselves! Imagine for a moment: what if Israel wasn't just a "Start-Up Nation," but a global center leading the way the world thinks? Not just advanced technology, but a place where innovative thinking, technology, and humanity meet to shape a future we all dream of. Sounds like science fiction? Think again. This is exactly what the Forum for Advanced Thinking wants to turn into reality. So why is it so important, and how does it relate to you? Let's dive in together and find out. The Vision: Israel as a Global Leader – But What Does That Even Mean? Ask yourselves: what is a "Mind Power"? It's not just a fancy term – it's a vision where Israel becomes a place where people think differently, smarter, and deeper. A place where we don't just invent cool apps, but integrate technology like Artificial Intelligence (AI) with strategic thinking and ethics to solve the world's biggest problems. Think about a world where our children are not afraid of AI, but know how to use it to make life better. Possible? Absolutely. But the question is: who will lead this change – us, or someone else? Because here's the thing: the world is changing fast. Really fast. In the next decade, AI will change the way we work, learn, and even talk to each other. So what do you prefer – to be those who just adapt to changes, or those who determine what the next step will be? What Do We Want to Achieve? Here are Four Questions to Ask Yourselves The Forum is not about empty slogans – we have clear goals. Think of it as a roadmap to the future. Here are four questions to help you understand what we are planning: How will we think differently? Why get stuck in old ways of thinking when we can create new ones? Think about Elon Musk – he didn't just build an electric car, he changed all the rules of the automotive industry. We want to bring that same groundbreaking thinking to every area of our lives. Who will control – us or technology? AI can be an amazing tool, but without clear boundaries, it could take over us. Look at Singapore: they use AI to manage public transportation, but maintain the privacy of citizens. How will we do that here? What will our children learn? Imagine a school where children don't memorize facts, but solve real problems with technology. They are already doing this in South Korea – why not here? What will our economy look like in the future? Picture an economy where AI helps farmers grow more with fewer resources, like in the Netherlands. How can we make Israel a leader in this field? How Will We Turn the Dream into Reality? A Plan That Will Leave You Curious Vision is nice, but without action, it remains a dream. So what are we doing? Here are some steps that will make you ask: "How didn't we think of this before?" Crazy Think Tanks (in a good way): We will gather people from science, technology, and education to think together about new solutions. For example, what do you think about AI that reduces costs in hospitals while improving care? Incubators for Big Ideas: We will establish places where entrepreneurs and researchers can turn ideas into life-changing projects. Think of Silicon Valley – but right here. Change the Rules: We will work with the government to create laws that encourage innovation, but protect us. For example, how will we ensure that AI does not harm our privacy? Education that Prepares for the Future: We will teach children strategic thinking and technology from kindergarten. What do you think about children building smart cities instead of just drawing them? What Stands in the Way? Prepare for Challenges That Will Make You Think Change is not easy, and there are some difficult questions that need to be answered: Who is afraid of change? People love the familiar. How will we convince them that it's worth taking a risk? Who will pay for it? Technology and education cost money. Where will we find the budget? What if we get stuck? Not every idea works right a
