War On Ukraine: How Prisoner Trade For Griner "Would Endanger More Americans"

War On Ukraine: How Prisoner Trade For Griner "Would Endanger More Americans"

Nearly six months since WNBA star Brittney Griner was first detained in Russia, the Biden administration has been working to return her safely home. Negotiations have been complicated by tensions between the U.S. and Russia since the war in Ukraine first began, yet the Biden administration communicated they are open to a prisoner trade with Moscow. The U.S. is offering Russian arms trafficker Viktor Bout in exchange for the release of Griner and former US Marine Paul Whelan, who was accused of spying. Former Defense Intelligence Agency Officer, Rebekah Koffler joins the podcast to explain the danger and risk involved in giving up Viktor Bout, Vladimir Putin's history on using this strategy to regain valuable assets and she emphasizes the importance of Americans receiving defensive briefings when traveling to hostile territories.

IRS Expansion Widens Divide Over Democrats' Big Spending Bill

IRS Expansion Widens Divide Over Democrats' Big Spending Bill

The Democrats' Inflation Reduction Act has passed the Senate and is expected to pass the House on Friday. While this package will tackle issues surrounding climate and health care, it is also set to allocate 80 billion dollars to the IRS, which would allow the agency to add an additional 87,000 employees. With the Internal Revenue Service set to expand, many are questioning what that would mean for Americans and the frequency of audits. Senior Political Correspondent at Axios Josh Kraushaar joins the podcast to break down voter anxiety toward the IRS and this bill's potential impact on the midterms. Later, CEO and President of Levy & Associates Tax Consultants Lawrence Levy joins to explain the current issues with the IRS and why he is skeptical additional funding could shift their behavior.
A virus that was believed to be eradicated has resurfaced within the United States. For the first time in nine years, polio was detected in an unvaccinated man who suffered from paralysis in Rockland County, NY. While most Americans are vaccinated against polio, the coronavirus pandemic has caused a surge in vaccine hesitancy, and many are concerned that is leading to fewer children getting immunized. Dr. Walter Orenstein is the Director of Vaccine Policy and Development at Emory University and the former Director of the US Immunization Program at the CDC and he joins the Rundown to discuss the nature of the polio virus, the importance of increasing immunization levels, and how to combat vaccine hesitancy within the country.
Don't miss the good news with Tonya J. Powers.
Plus, commentary by Jimmy Failla, host of "Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla."

War On Ukraine: Russia Recruiting Soldiers From Prisons

War On Ukraine: Russia Recruiting Soldiers From Prisons

Massive Russian casualties in Ukraine have forced Moscow to scour their prisons to recruit convicts to fight in their invasion. These prisoners are being offered money and their freedom to most likely become 'cannon fodder' on the battlefield. FOX's John Saucier speaks with FOX's Amy Kellogg, Senior Foreign Correspondent, about the prisoner recruitment and she gauges the Russian support of the invasion.

A Growing Threat From China Hitting Close To Home

A Growing Threat From China Hitting Close To Home

China's ownership of American farmland is growing, as well as concerns that the purchases could pose a national security threat to the U.S. China recently acquired farmland near North Dakota's Grand Forks Air Force Base, leading many to worry that the proximity could allow China to gain access to confidential American military secrets. Congressman Dusty Johnson (R-SD) joins the Rundown to discuss why he's concerned that the purchases could lead to American dependency on China, why he believes the Inflation Reduction Act will be harmful for consumers, and his reaction to the FBI's raid of former President Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence.

With a warrant, FBI agents searched former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate on Monday night, acting on part of an investigation into whether Trump possesses classified White House documents. Former President Trump called this an “unannounced raid” as federal agents entered his Florida residence where he says they broke into his safe. This marks the first time a former president has been searched by law enforcement, and many are looking to U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland and his Department of Justice to explain what warranted this. Former Assistant US Attorney for the Southern District of New York and FOX News Contributor Andy McCarthy joins the Rundown to discuss what may have caused this search and why the DOJ should justify its actions soon.

War On Ukraine: Ukraine Remains Coy On Russian Air Base Destruction

Ukrainian officials say that at least nine Russian warplanes have been destroyed on an air base in the annexed Crimea territory but have not taken credit for a successful attack. Moscow has denied there was an attack saying none of their planes were impacted. FOX's John Saucier speaks with Dr. Matthew Schmidt, Associate Professor of National Security and Political Science at the University of New Haven, about the attack and what that means for a Ukrainian counteroffensive.

"I Believe America Is The Solution": Sen. Tim Scott On Unity & His New Book

"I Believe America Is The Solution": Sen. Tim Scott On Unity & His New Book

Political division in the U.S. is worsening, with Americans segmenting further from each other and disagreement becoming more prevalent than unity. Senator Tim Scott (R-S.C.) has a goal to dispel this negativity and reflect what he believes is the true identity of America in his new book, “America: A Redemption Story.” Fox News’ Dana Perino sits down with Sen. Scott on the Rundown to discuss some key stories he shares from his humble beginnings in South Carolina, the people who helped him in times of need, and his path to the U.S. Senate. He explains the negative impact of polarization and partisan media and the influence unity can have in building a more resilient nation.

August marks the one-year anniversary of the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan after 20 years of war. The move was highly controversial as the Taliban quickly seized power in Kabul following the collapse of the Afghan government. As chaos escalated, a suicide bomber attacked the Hamid Karzai International Airport, killing U.S. service members and Afghan civilians alike. Zainullah "Zak" Zaki was able to flee the country. He served as a translator for Marine Major Tom Schueman during the war in Afghanistan. They join the Rundown to discuss their story from their new book, "Always Faithful," the Taliban's ongoing threats against Zak, and why they're tirelessly working to ensure secure U.S. citizenship for Zak.

Plus, commentary from co-host of Fox & Friends Weekend and Host of ‘The Will Cain Podcast’ Will Cain.

Leftists come here to cry !

I’m not sure why anyone on the left would come here to listen to the truth then claim it’s a “mouthpiece” for President Trump. That’s exactly wrong with liberals today, they feel if you don’t agree with them you must be some sort of bigot, this podcast voices the truth, something leftists cannot deal with.

Trumps Mouth Piece

Thought this was a parody comedy about Fox News. Then I realized they were being serious. Still very funny though, if not disturbing still.
