    The death of George Floyd at the hands of 4 Minneapolis Police officers has sparked an uprising throughout the nation and world. It has left portions of the city of Minneapolis decimated as a message for a much-needed revolution. 
    It has also created trauma for Black people. Trauma that is taxing on our mental health. As a result, I'm sharing three ways to live in this historic moment and protect your peace. My mom also joins the conversation sharing some insight after living through the Detroit 1967 uprising.

    The COVID-19 global pandemic has created an experience that is new to everyone. We are all experiencing the world, how we live our lives, and connect with loved ones differently because of the highly contagious virus.
    Because this is new terrain for everyone simultaneously, there are some very unique things I've noticed that I believe is happening within humanity. It's the fact that the very foundation of our lives has been shaken and that our faith is being forced to shift.
