Podcast - James 1:2-4
In this segment we delve into understanding something called, "The Olive Press", a Jewish method of extracting pure oil for the lampstand within the temple. And in seeing how pure, beaten olive oil was extracted, we identify how God is going to get this light producing substance out of us as well for His Temple to shine the Light of Christ. This segment is a raw look into the reality of why we suffer through trials, but also what can be produced through that suffering, when we choose to allow the perfect work of God to produce the perfect man of God, Christ Jesus, within!
Podcast - Jude 1:3-4
In this session, we dissect Jude 1:3-4 and expound upon the topic of grace, as well as, the need for us as Christians to humbly contend for the faith that was delivered to us! We must rise up to the challenge, training ourselves to wage war as we ought, for God has not only commissioned us, but empowered us to do so!
Ephesians 6 - The Preeminence of Christ
In a continuation of our topic from last week, we conclude our series over Ephesians discussing the importance of true, Biblical submission, and the immense dangers attached to the poison of insubordinate rebels who spread their toxins among the masses, poisoning the hearts and minds of others unto discord and dissensions. And after a pointed, and firm warning about the toxic nature of insubordination, we go in depth about the need to allow the Holy Spirit to have mastery over every aspect of our lives, with no exceptions. For until we allow the Spirit utter dominion to increase His perfect, and complete work in us, it is impossible to truly put on the whole armor of God as we ought! For to increase in the armory of Heaven within our souls, we must first decrease the bondage of flesh within our hearts! As John the Baptist said, "He must increase, but I must decrease" (John 3:30). Join us for this final message that is sure to stir your heart with a Heavenly zeal, and one that leaves nothing on the table, addressing many issues that plague the human heart in today's generation. Jesus must be preeminent, or we will never successfully stand against the schemes of the devil...
Ephesians 5 - The Imagery of Christ
God takes sin very seriously, and the calling He has given to us in Christ was never one intended to have compromise attached to it! He has ordered us to rely upon His grace and powerfully walk in the image of His Son in all things, and to never allow any degree of darkness into our lives! But the seriousness to which God has decreed for us to follow His lead has for some reason lessened in much of the Church today. For many rely upon justifications and excuses as to why they cant walk as He walked, instead of clinging to faith to pursue living as He lived...as imitators of God Himself! No matter what season of life you are in, or what situations you encounter, this sermon will provide an answer for you in a passionate and bold declaration of Truth that the Church desperately needs to hear again today!
Ephesians 4 - The Calling of Christ
There are seven main callings found in chapter 4 that we highlight in this study, each one of them in proportion to Paul's message to the Ephesian Church. Seven callings that we who are in Christ have been commissioned by Heaven to fulfill on earth, and have been equipped with all we need in order to accomplish them as, "more than conquerors"! But what are these seven callings which have been ordered from Heaven for those of us in Christ, and why is it so important to not only know them, but faithfully fulfill them? You'll just have to listen to find out...
Ephesians 3 - The Stewardship of Christ
Establishing a theme throughout the book of Ephesians, we continue in our progression of understanding that Christ is the beginning and the end of all things! And in this segment, we discuss the responsibility to steward well what we have been given in Christ and His Gospel of grace! Stewardship, often referenced in regards to money, carries with it a much broader spectrum than what many realize today, and grace is no exception. Using the parable of the talents as a relation point, we bring to light the reality of our need to steward the grace of Christ well so as to not receive His grace in vain! For our aim as the Church must be the glory of God in all we do, and there is no better way to reveal His glory to rulers and authorities in the Heavenlies, than by faithfully stewarding His gift of grace in the imprint of Christ Jesus our Lord!
