The Hidden Talent: In Conversation with Creative Youth The Arts and Everything In Between
-
- Performing Arts
This episode of The Arts & Everything in Between is hosted by Lucy Costelloe who is joined by special guest, Daniel Cartlidge General Manager of Creative Youth. Creative Youth is the biggest youth arts festival in the UK. In this episode, we borrow from Daniel’s insights from working with the youth artists’ council and what the main concerns are for young talent within the sector currently navigating through the uncertainties as presented in the news headlines. With arts funding announcements delayed, rising costs impacting purchasing behaviours, and pressure on resources, Daniel provides a dialogue for artists and young audiences who are often an afterthought and not always a key consideration in terms of opportunities and access to arts and culture.
