My lockdown sanity!

As an amatuer student of military history it’s been refreshing to find such a deep dive analysis of the second world war, and I’m amazed how much new knowledge I’ve acquired.

On top of that, Ray’s excellent narration has helped me walk hundreds of boring miles around our town over the last 12 months, keeping fit and escaping household covid imprisonment. The extra episodes members section is a steal and Ray should charge more, as there are fascinating stories such as the rise of the Krupp Dynasty and Spanish Civil War.

My only concern is that after 10 years, the Philippines has just fallen, so I may be listening to the last days of the Reich in a carehome!

If Ray reads this, I’d be grateful if he could say Warwickshire just one more time, I love his Southern pronunciation of our UK ‘shires 😂

Keep up the good work. Entertaining, educational with incredible detail. The best podcast by far 👍
