Love this around the holidays!
I love how in-depth this podcast is, it’s a must for The Holiday fans, but super interesting for film folk in general.
It’s holiday season!
This rather niche, but nice, podcast is becoming an annual event, echoing The Holiday (film) itself, a perennial ‘Christmas’ (or should I say, ‘Holiday’) movie that has become, over the last decade or so, synonymous with this time of year. It’s constantly being discovered by new, young audiences, including my own eldest daughter (17). I’m also a fan of the film and revisit it from time to time, and recall its original release but can’t remember where I saw it. I like podcasts like this that are singular passion projects. There’s a certain charm in their very, unlikely existence, with their interesting guests and titbits of trivia. I’m already looking forward to next year’s edition! Happy Holidays!
