Great work

I first listened to this podcast a couple of years ago and I’m still listening to it today. The civil war is such a difficult one to cover for any historian/author which is why so many shy away from it. I have tried to read various books but always end up getting bogged down and give up half way through. It’s often hard for the author to hide their personal opinions/agenda on the subject and it’s here where Seth wins for me. Whoever maybe committing said atrocities or pure military stupidity Seth doesn’t take sides and normally lightens the mood with a sarcastic comment or two!

Give it a try!

Difficult to listen to

Reads his script like a 12 year old girl presenting her history paper to the rest of her class. Loud then quiet. Fast then slow. No intonation. Difficult to listen to.

Drivel

Poorly delivered drivel. Americans really ought not to dabble in European history.
