The Joffrey of Parsecs: The Long Night ends while House of Dragon Rises

Bubba touches on the Game of Thrones spinoff switcheroo: Bloodmoon/Age Of Heroes/The Long Night has many names and titles except a series order, while HBO Max moves forward on a Targ prequel House of the Dragon. Plus Bubba wonders how D&D could've made Dany's turn less abrupt.

Con of Thrones panel: Name-Day Morning Quarterback: Why _____ lost the Game of Thrones?

Con of Thrones panel: Name-Day Morning Quarterback: Why _____ lost the Game of Thrones?

Double P Media (@DoublePHQ) gang of Bubba & Catfish host a panel at Con of Thrones 2019 in Nashville, TN on Saturday, June 13th.

    Panel description:
When you play the Game of Thrones, you win or you die. With the series complete, panelists and audience members critique the losers’ poor strategy and debate what moves they could’ve done to win: Could Cersei have won if she’d seduced Robin Arryn to secure the Knights of the Vale? Had Dany considered that an alliance through marriage to Illyrio Malpatisi might have put her upon the Iron Throne? If the Night King had just bent the knee to Sansa, would she have spared him? (NOTE: These will be updated after the actual facts based on season 8) A fun, light-hearted panel with audience participation.

Post-finale thoughts on Game of Thrones + Final Joffrey POV chapter

We received an emergency email from a source (codename: Meorge P.P. Gartin) who sent us the last Joffrey POV chapter from 'A Dream of Spring' & demanded that we share it with all Double Ls!
Before we read this sacred text, Bubba & Catfish look back on Game of Thrones in its entirety and reflex on the wonder of Meorge P.P. Gartin's A Song of Ice & Fire saga!

Game of Thrones: Season 8, Episode 6: "The Iron Throne"

Bubba, Catfish and Mork have a spirited debate about Dany being spirited away, GreyWorm's political leanings, and the end of HBO's Game of Thrones' based on George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire Saga.

Game of Thrones: Season 8, Episode 5: "The Bells"

Gulp, Ramsay was right: We were paying attention but thought this had an ending happier than this! Bubba & Catfish love the spectacle but disagree on the rest of HBO's Game of Thrones "The Bells" based on George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire saga. Do you Double Ls agree with us? What did you think? https://twitter.com/DoublePHQ/ https://www.facebook.com/doublephq/

Game of Thrones: Season 8, Episode 4 "The Last of the Starks"

We're seeing some critics online are tough on this one, but Bubba & Catfish are generally positive on HBO's Game of Thrones "The Last of the Starks" based on George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire saga. Do you Double Ls agree with us? What did you think? https://twitter.com/DoublePHQ/ https://www.facebook.com/doublephq/

The Sword of the Moaning ,

A Great Podcast Hosted By Two Double C's - Cool Chaps

Living as I do, alone in my stout Keep with no wife to tell me what to do, I sometimes suffer from boredom, uncleanness and bouts of madness. Needing some friends, I listen to podcasts to try and get me through this dismal existence. After much searching, I have found that The Joffrey of Podcasts helps to quell the voices in my head, by providing voices in my head. These voices belong to Bubba and Catfish, however, two Double C's, who are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Game of Thrones, as well as unwavering in their worship of the one true King; King Joffrey. Follow him, follow them (@fittentrim) and follow me too (@MoaningSword). It’s lovely stuff.

Simply The Best

In the words of Tina Turner, this is simply the best Game of Thrones podcast available. Not only do Bubba and Catfish make me laugh approximately 8 times per podcast (7 more than most), but they are very well informed and know their stuff. These are the sort of people I would want to have a beer with. Greetings from England. Keep up the good work chaps.

Not to be missed.

This, along with Podcast Winterfell are my favourite ASoIaF podcasts. Just watched the latest 2 episodes on periscope replay and it was almost as funny as when Bubba and Catfish tried to work out how many frames per second in the season trailer for series 5 (cant seem to find that episode now, was going to put on again this morning). This season we have the added bonus of Monty Python references and a reworking of a classic Bud Abbot & Lou Costello sketch.
