    Kent Non-League Podcast - Episode 362

    A busy week despite the weather playing havoc with the fixture programme once again - and two managerial changes lead the agenda this week. The first of them is the exit of Steve McKimm from Cray Valley and we discuss the ramifications of that decision and pay tribute to the job he did at the club in his time there, while the second is at Sheppey United, where Kevin Watson has been replaced by Ian and George Batten - sons of Ernie - after a poor run of form, and we catch up with Ian to discuss his return to the club, working alongside his brother and a look ahead to their first game in charge. We also hear from Sevenoaks manager Marcel Nimani after his side continued their good run with a 3-1 win at VCD in one of the few games to beat the weather.     Kent Non-League Podcast - Episode 361

    We are back after a week away with three interviews as we look back at a busy week and ahead to this weekend's FA Vase last-16 clashes. Punjab United boss Chipie Sian discusses his side's big clash with Fisher - the first of a double header with their SCEFL rivals - and the progress the club is making both on and off the pitch. Chatham Town bowed out in their own last-16 tie as they were beaten 1-0 by Southend, and their manager Kevin Hake rues some refereeing decisions but takes heart from their excellent campaign in the cups - and now wants to make it a good season in the league too. And we hear from Dover boss Jake Leberl after his side's 3-2 home loss to league leaders Torquay, as he calls on the people of the town to get behind his side. Chislehurst Glebe saw off Hythe 2-0 to move eight points clear of the drop zone and boss Frankie Sawyer reflects on that win, improving things after a slow start, getting the best out of his star striker and the potential at the club. Erith Town boss Aaron Jeffrey has beaten Faversham and VCD in his first two games in charge and he discusses the job ahead of him, replacing a club legend and the ethos of his club. We've got reflections on the FA Vase wins, some childish reactions to the draw, discussion about all the rest of our leagues and the usual chat and nonsense as one of us looks back at one of the all-time great weekends... And there's positives in spades for Chatham Town boss Kevin Hake after an incredible week - he discusses their forthcoming FA Trophy tie against Carlisle and the success of the club's women's team as things just keep getting better for the Chats. Dover may have bowed out of the Trophy themselves, but it's a big weekend for them with free entry for all when they host Eastbourne Borough - we hear from chairman Jim Parmenter about why the club has decided to open their doors to the community and his hopes to make it a day to remember. And it's all going well in the SCEFL for Bearsted - boss Kev Stevens reflects on the win over Rusthall, overcoming an injury crisis and hoping for a positive second half of the season. Punjab United have reached the last 32 of the FA Vase for the very first time and boss Chipie Sian discusses their win at Burnham, their progress in the league and hopes to continue their Vase run after Christmas.
