Customer Reviews
Gripping
Horror isn’t a genre I usually listen to but thought I’d give this a go because of the reviews and am so glad I did. It blossoms from what seems quite a simple story to a multi-layered, complex plot that is hugely satisfying to follow. The characters’ growth, rich storytelling, superb acting and accomplished sound production will delight all lovers of quality audio drama, no matter what genres you usually prefer. I started listening about a month ago and have just finished 194 - cannot wait to hear what happens next and how it ends! Signed up to Patreon to support the creators for giving me such a great drama feast.
Addicting
Thought I’d finally start listening to this podcast after having it on my to listen list for well over a year now. Bit late to the party perhaps since I see talk amongst the fandom posts online saying it’s wrapping up soon - but if it’s a good show and it’s got a backlog of episodes to listen to that shouldnt be a plus and if it’s bad then what’s it matter.
Boy this is addicting though. Started listening around 24 hours ago and found myself going to bed later than planned because I got engrossed: listened to more episodes next day during my commute and lunch break.
The episodes are wonderfully bitesized at the 20-30 minute mark. The stories are very well read, the soundwork is great, very atmospheric even though they’re just supposed to be little self recordings it all comes together. Also hearing stuff that’s UK based is so delightful since a majority of the popular podcasts that have been recommended to me in the past tend to be American (not bad just not as familiar)
I’m only up to episode 10 but I can see this becoming my new go to podcast and me having consumed the entire thing in a week.
Outstanding stuff.
Gerard Keay
