402: 9 Longevity Secrets From The World’s Healthiest People | Dan Buettner

402: 9 Longevity Secrets From The World’s Healthiest People | Dan Buettner

If you want to live to be a vibrant, healthy 100-year-old, a great place to start is to look to the people who’ve achieved this feat themselves — what do they eat? How do they live? What are their secrets? Today’s podcast guest, Dan Buettner, has the answers.

An award-winning author and researcher, Dan Buettner has spent his career travelling the world to find and study the planet’s longest-lived people. These longevity ‘hotspots’ he helped discover, known as ‘Blue Zones’, contain an abnormally high concentration of fit, healthy, independent centenarians. They also hold vast secrets for how to live the longest, healthiest, most fulfilling life that’s humanly possible, and in this episode, Dan is spilling the (lima) beans on exactly how we can put these principles into practice in our own life.

401: Elimination Communication: What Is It & How To Do It | Andrea Olson

401: Elimination Communication: What Is It & How To Do It | Andrea Olson

Standard disposable nappies (or diapers, for my US friends) can cost a lot and aren’t good for our mama earth — especially when you consider that the average infant goes through a staggering 8,000 of them by the time they are toilet trained! And even some (but not all) cloth nappies aren’t the best solution: some leave a large carbon footprint, and some use loads of chemicals, pesticides and water to produce. So what is an earth-loving, conscious mama to do when it comes to her baby’s sweet tushie — those are the only two options, right?! Wrong. Today’s guest, Andrea Olson, is on a mission to teach parents around the world about Elimination Communication (EC) — a gentle, non-coercive way to respond to a baby’s natural hygiene needs from as early as birth. As Andrea points out, it’s the way nature intended… and in this episode, she’s going to explain exactly how to get started!

400: Digital Minimalism, Doing Deep Work & Quitting Social Media | Cal Newport

400: Digital Minimalism, Doing Deep Work & Quitting Social Media | Cal Newport

Most of us have a gut feeling that we’re using our phones too much, that social media is sucking away our time and energy, and that we’re letting our devices hijack our productivity… but what can we do about it? Technology is an inescapable part of life, so does that mean we’re doomed to be distracted forever? Absolutely not, says today’s guest, Cal Newport. Cal has written extensively about how our addiction to digital tools is costing us both productivity and peace. But rather than asking us to give them up completely, he’s identified a series of techniques and strategies that can help us reclaim control over our time, attention, and energy and ultimately, lead a richer life. And in this unmissable episode, he’s explaining exactly how to do it.

399: How To Make Money In Crypto | Lark Davis

399: How To Make Money In Crypto | Lark Davis

Everyone’s talking about cryptocurrency… but what is it, really (without the tech jargon, please!)
And when it comes to investing in this new type of digital currency, is it really all it’s cracked up to be? How can you keep your investment safe? Is it true that anyone can create wealth with crypto, even if you’ve never traded anything before? Which type should you choose? And for the love of goji berries, how on earth do you get started?!
In this very special episode, I’m passing the mic to my husband, Nick Broadhurst (the financial guru of our household!) and he’s interviewing the incredible Lark Davis — a Bitcoin, cryptocurrency and stock investor with years of experience making consistent profits in the market, and who helps his community do the same. You’ll walk away from this conversation knowing *exactly* how to make an informed decision for yourself about crypto, and *exactly* how to get started — even if you’ve never traded or invested in anything before in your life.

398: Why Wealth Is Not A Dirty Word & Using Money To Save The World | Lynne Twist

Whether you’re aware of it or not, we ALL have a relationship with money. For many of us, that relationship is fraught with inherited beliefs that there’s “not enough” of it and that it’s “hard to come by”, or even that “money is bad”. In today’s episode, I’m joined by the fascinating Lynne Twist — a global visionary, activist, fundraiser, consultant and author. Together, we’re unpacking the invisible programing that we’re all running when it comes to money, to see how those beliefs are impacting our ability to create prosperity, do good in the world, and achieve personal happiness. (This is an episode like no other… prepare to have your mind and soul expanded!)

Truly uplifting

I’d started to feel stagnant and needed to explore something to listen to other than the radio. I feel like I was ready to find Melissa’s podcast and it was waiting for me. I truly love how positive it is and the vast array of different content. Iv discovered so many foods, books, supplements and life style changes from Melissa and her guests and introduced them into mine and my families life which has opened me up and sent me onto another level of vibration. I’m a step mum to a gorgeous 8 year old and currently 3 months pregnant with my first baby so many of the podcasts have been so ore inspiring to me. Melissa & Nick come from a place of so much love and self assurance it seeps into me whenever I listen. Thank you, with so much love xx Chloe xx

Infinity Rising

Couple years ago someone shared to me an episode of this podcast, as the person thought it resonated with my situation at the time.
After I listen it I saw the situation with different eyes and made the most of it. I’ve been homeless with two young children going to a very hurtful process of separation with a narcissist.
Since then, over 3y I’m still listening to this show and I take on board every grain of knowledge I’m receiving. From tips and advice to great books recommendation.
Melissa I want to thank you for all the good work you doing and for sharing with us all this knowledge through your amazing guests.
Love from teodora_theloudest!
