Wondered how to get into property photography as a career? Look no further This week I am  joined on the sofa with woman behind that lens Holly Catherall (yes i am made up with that line hahaah), who tells us all about her journey from film graduate to London property photographer. 

Holly talks turning her hobby into a career by landing a job with 0 experience getting threw in the deep end, having a motor accident and nearly getting fired. From the unreal London properties to using strangers toilet brushes, it doesn't seem all too glam from dirty cutlery and unmade beds this girlie has seen it all! Oh and not to mention talks about right-move cat-fishing us cos lets face it we've all been there!

Holly gives us photography advice not about the most expensive kit but how you use it, photo and editing efficiency and pro photo tips for hoe accounts on insta and will the iphone ever be able to beat a camera - we dive into these hot topics and more...

THE MIND OF AN INTERIOR DESIGNER PODCAST Episode 10 ft. Adam Sutton.

This week I am  joined on the sofa with special guest Adam Sutton owner of Adam Sutton Estates, when I say this was the funniest episode we have ever recorded I don't mess, it was one of our longest recordings yet and when you listen you'll be able to see why!

Adam talks about his property journey over the past 10 years, including his London life selling 5 million pound properties to celebs, the struggles of being accepted in the London crowd with a Scouse accent and the huge difference in selling properties in the north than south. 

As well as his return back home to Liverpool opening an estate agents the day of lockdown, the hell ordeal of the current housing boom and whether or not there will be a housing crash?.. this might come along with a few brown envelopes (ouch)

If you want a laugh and also a lot of knowledge on property this is 100% the podcast for you. It was a pleasure to chat to Adam he is absolutely hilarious and his personality and heart for both his job and the community really shines through, Adam has also achieved local awards since recording (after being on  Liverpool 30 under 30... basically forbes ahaha ), so if  looking to buy or sell Adam is your guy- follow him on his socials below and enjoy the episode! Will talks about his role at John Lewis, making your home happy by truly syncing into who you are as a person- not who your friends are, compromising as couples on design and being experimental in your home. He talks to us on getting rid of preconceptions of the brand and building relationships as a designer.

He tell us about his growth on social media, putting his funny spin on design and the power of reels - putting design into motion. As well as being apart of the Dr Alex HQ design process! How insane!

This week I am  joined on the sofa with special guest Rebecca Taylor, you may recognise this TIKTOK Interior superstar! This week on the sofa I am joined by Interior designer Rebecca Taylor. From working in a bank job she hated, picking up an interior design course to now leaving her full time job to pursue her dream job, just 9 months ago! Rebecca has already reached huge numbers on her TIK TOK videos of her Interior transformations which has lead to now completing celebrity homes.... which are dropped in this episode and being FULLY BOOKED till AUGUST!!!

It was a pleasure to speak to Rebecca, she has completed such a huge amount of growth in such a short space of time, which is no surprise with the dedication to her business being 24/7!  Rebecca's love for interiors shines through its such a brilliant episode that will motivate you to start what you are truly passionate about and CERTAINLY start showing up on social media...
