A young missionary named Renee Bach left her comfortable life in America to start a malnutrition program in rural Uganda. Folks back home and in Uganda praised her as a model missionary -- an example of the healing power of God’s message. But a decade later she’s accused of masquerading as a doctor and rumored to have killed hundreds of children in her unlicensed clinic. How did Renee Bach end up here? Is she a case of good intentions gone wrong...or a predator posing as a saint? Hosted and reported by journalists Rajiv Golla, Halima Gikandi and Malcolm Burnley.

Great podcast
Excellent podcast. Well-researched, balanced, informative and really puts the issues presented into their deserved context. Great hosts. Hard topic to discuss but handled really well. Worth a listen.
Gripping but terrible story
A brave endeavour to cut through the bs of Renee Bach’s practices in Uganda, medical procedures without any training on vulnerable people. Can you imagine the reverse, setting up an unlicensed practice and treating white western kids using Google to look up critical treatment? Unbelievable. So glad this story is being told and hope justice is served.
Fascinating - and shocking
Well researched - oddly fascinating while so shocking. My only quibble is that the female presenter appears to have forgotten that there are two ‘T’s in ‘important’
