The current Covid-19 crisis has put excessive pressure on care providers, but this in turn has lead to much more rapid adoption of new technologies, sped up access to data, and fast-tracked those working in the care sector to benefit from basic tools such as NHS Mail. Adoption of digital technologies has been slow, but now appears to be the start of real momentum when it comes to Digital transformation in care - this shift within the sector can only mean good things for organisations, staff and patients alike.
