Tight, Tense, Terrific

For me this is the very best storytelling RPG podcast set in the world of Lovecraft’s mythos. The keeper Michael Diamond has assembled an awesome cast of player/actors and you quickly become invested in their characters who week in week out offer joyful, thoughtful, and at times quite moving performances in gameplay. This is far from light, there’s no evidence of silliness, it’s kept tight, there’s no room for error as the players will swiftly be swept in a whole heap of trouble. But there’s plenty of humour too, in character interaction and moments when the Keeper just knows the players are pushing their luck a bit too far. There have been some seriously elevated moments in both campaigns, the NPCs, cultists, ghouls and other “things” are brought to life in quite stark detail, some of the character interplay has had me painfully gripped. This is a podcast that gets you involved, drags you in and keeps you in, so go get invested! You won’t regret it.

What a gem

Have always been a big H. P. Lovecraft fan as well as a keen Call of Cthulhu player many years ago! Due to location opportunities to play are limited so it was great to find this podcast that not only is excellently produced, it is brilliantly executed too. Really takes me back into the thick of the Mythos again.
