My fave TV discussion podcast
Way more focused and sophisticated than most TV discussion podcasts which can tend to ramble and enjoy the sound of their own voice. Particularly like Joanna’s analysis!
I’ve loved the Better Call Saul
This podcast is such an enjoyable listen. Check it out. The Better Call Saul discussions between Joanna and Ben were so insightful, warm and fun. And I would love them to do another show together. I was genuinely sad when the series came to an end.
I felt the same about Joanna, Danny and David talking about Westworld. The podcast was such a great hang. So subscribe and check this out. There’s so many different shows covered. It’s worth your time.
Great from Joanna & Sean, but Bill…?
I’ve only been listening to the Prestige for Succession episodes but man, Bill Simmons is such a dolt. He has none of the nuanced analytical perspective of Joanna or Sean, and pipes up crass ideas that are so low brow compared with his much smarter colleagues. And then has the nerve to condescendingly make dull sports references that Joanna “probably won’t get”. He’s a chump, and should pipe down to give Joanna more air time. God knows how she puts up with him.
