Listen to this - it’s great!!!

Other brands are available ... but I love this show.

Henry and John are funny and engaging and well worth a listen. I’ve just blitzed the whole lot in a couple of weeks.

It has very quickly become my favourite listen during my walk to and from work. You don’t have to be a teacher to enjoy it - it’s just a fascinating glimpse into the world of teachers (a profession that was, is, or will be an important part of all of our lives).

They have regular guests come and talk to them (particularly loved Margaret and hearing about the early years kids). Great segments include the intro where they basically just sit and chat. And detention is superb, mixing current affairs with random day-to-day gripes. And Simon has nailed those announcement jingles.

Great learning vehicle too. Was super happy to hear the awesome Monty Hall probability problem covered and some circle theorems too. Loads of good science too - always always love animal chats.

Henry - just to be an annoying pedant, it wasn’t Aled Jones in the film. He released the hit single, but only because Peter Auty (who sang the film version) had the misfortune of his voice breaking.

John - super belated birthday wishes. But my favourite number is 7 - for the ultimate nerd reason of it being a magical number in the Harry Potter world. 7 books, 7 years at Hogwarts, 7 Weasleys, 7 horcruxes, 7 hidden passageways, and 7 players in a quidditch team. Would love to know some interesting number 7 maths facts please.

One suggestion: I think you should score the challenges and have it as a running tally for a school year. Might give you some extra incentive to succeed in them and gives a reason for Henry to get his competitive edge (and growth mindset) out!

Keep up the ace work. Love it

Good for long drives, not for long runs

Amazing podcast but do not listen to it whilst running as Henry’s voice and laugh will drain you of all motivation
