Andrea Wulf joins Dominic and Tom in today's episode to discuss the rebels' progressive (and often scandalous) lives and her new book, 'Magnificent Rebels: The First Romantics and the Invention of the Self'.

Lordy lord

Lordy, can you imagine what we would have achieved if we had teachers like this at school? St David’s collage hang your head 😁

Too politically correct

Some very good episodes and presenters are knowledgable, but cowers and conforms to current ideals and is afraid to challenge the narrative. History should at least try to be objective.

Gold formula

Love this podcast. Tom and Dominic have such a wonderful manner with each other, gentle teasing and both egging the other to raise their game. The results are a joy, interesting topics, erudite discussions and playing off each other. The range of their knowledge from Hegel to Tolkien is so impressive. Highly recommended
