    Family Estrangement

Yesterday was Mother's Day in the UK. A day to catch up with family if you want to.
But I want to emphasise the importance of "If you want to."
    Because you might not.

    Personality Disorders

    Personality Disorders

Not everyone likes labels when it comes to mental health issues, but for some people it can be quite reassuring to be told that their reactions to the world are so common that we even have a name for it. So today I'm giving you a very brief introduction to what we call Personality Disorders.

    Trauma

    Trauma

Trauma is as close to a disability as you can get without being given a blue badge. It paralyses people. Trauma genuinely alters the brain so much that people have to develop ways of living with it that end up creating behaviours and attitudes that can be dangerous. Fabulous

Richard has such a fantastic energy, these podcasts are informative, helpful, entertaining & easy to listen too.

Left wing, liberal drivel…..

This fella used to offer up nice little helpful titbits from the beginners guide to psychology. In the last episode it was stated that if your father says something you don’t agree with this Christmas cut him out of your life!! Unbelievable! This rubbish will probably prove popular with the rise of a woke generation but please don’t subscribe to this utter garbage….

Much needed !

I love how Richard Nicholls talks about topics that a lot of the time I was really confused about and embarrassed to talk about. Most episodes usually provide opportunities for me to reflect on and discuss. Richard has a kind voice and he has a sweet sense of humour too. I also joined a Patreon listener and the community is all about helping and solidarity. I love it. I always look forward to Mondays because he posts extra episodes for Patreon supporters. He is a great humanist psychotherapist.
