A collective of conversations that inspire, motivate, and encourage runners who know deep down that the world we want to create already exists. We all play a role in bringing it to life. Join former professional runner and life-long athlete, Tina Muir in this unique running podcast. We do not talk to professional runners about their wins or the Olympics. We do not talk about what shoes to wear or what training is best. Instead, we relate every experience back to you, and love to think hard about the questions you would always love to ask.

While we bring on well known guests like Malcolm Gladwell, Reshma Saujani, Ryan Holiday, Des Linden, Michael Gervais, and David Epstein, these are not the same old conversations. This feels more like overhearing two friends talking about the deep conversations that weigh on our hearts daily. Join us in discovering the power of running, why our sport has always been part of humanity, and how we can use it as a tool for realizing our truest self, uplifting our communities, celebrating cultures, and taking care of our Mother Earth.

    Corinna Bellizzi: Nutrition without Compromise

Corinna Bellizzi is an impact entrepreneur, a climate activist, and host of two podcasts, "Nutrition without Compromise" and "Care More, Be Better. " She's passionate about sustainable nutrition, especially omega-3s, which are essential for everyone to survive and for runners and other athletes to thrive. Most people think of fish oil when they think of EPA and DHA supplements, but Corinna believes in going directly to the source: algae, which is not only better for people, but for the planet.

Örlö’s algae is grown in pristine water in Iceland using only green energy and they employ a carbon-negative production process. 99% less land and water resources are used, so you get 100% of the benefit with 0% of the guilt!

Allbirds looks at everything through a sustainability lens; it’s at the core of who they are as a company and the products they create. Their performance running shoe, the Tree Flyer, is lightweight, super springy, and wildly comfortable, and they’re Tina’s go-to running shoes. They’re her workout shoes, and she’s run three marathons and an ultra in them.  The Tree Dasher is not only a running shoe, it’s perfect for daily wear.

    Liz Rock: Movement Is Power

    Liz Rock: Movement Is Power

Running is much more than a sport to Liz Rock, co-founder of the Bra Run and the women’s running crew, TrailblazHers. Its impact on her goes far beyond the physical benefits. As Liz says, “Running has been such a huge pillar in my life that it’s legit changed who I am.”
She’s changing the lives of other women, as well. TrailblazHers isn’t about competition; it’s about collaboration. It takes a holistic approach to its community, caring about its members’ mental, spiritual and emotional health, not just the mileage that they run. It’s about women believing in themselves and holding space for each other.

Tracksmith is an independent running brand inspired by a deep love of the sport. For years the brand has elevated running wear using best-in-class materials and timeless silhouettes that perform at the highest level and can be worn everyday, not just for running.
Tracksmith helps the environment by making comfortable, durable clothes that will last for years, rather than winding up in the landfill, but that’s not the only contribution they make. They supported Running for Real in creating our RED-S: Realize. Reflect. Recover program. They help athletes who are trying to make the Olympic trials, and they offer scholarships for creatives to work on their crafts. They also have lots of events - Tina will be hosting events with them at the Boston and London marathons.
Go here and use the code TINA15 at checkout. It will give you free shipping and Tracksmith will donate 5% of your order to Rising Hearts, the Indigenous-led nonprofit founded by Jordan Marie Daniels.

Excellent

Really enjoying listening to this podcast; as a runner returning from injury and looking for inspiration, this podcast has been a god send. Thank you.

Amazing

I just started this podcast around a month ago & I have started from the very beginning & I’m working my way through them. I love listening to all the different guests & hearing why people run. I am not a very fast runner but I love the feeling of achievement I get even just being able to do it at 46. I previously had a back injury & thought at one point I’d never walk for long again.
The range of guests so far has been fantastic & I can’t wait to hear more every time I run, thank you for being so inspiring. I try & talk everyone into running but not many people give it a go. It has literally changed my life.

Running together

Just listened to running together, episode 2. I’m in Northumberland, UK and it was such a different listening experience, I do listen to your regular podcast amongst others but this was just so mentally relaxing. Completely resonate with you playing down your trail win as I did the same when I came first female in a 48 mile race by saying ‘ I got lucky because the faster ladies didn’t turn up’ it really made me think about how I truly didn’t give myself a deserved pat on the back. I get really nervous at events ( to the point of not turning up) so I think your running together might be useful to use in a race 👌 loved it! Rachel
