Superb if tenuous Sports chat
I’m so late to this it’s embarrassing. I’ve been an Elis James fan for a few years now and have managed to hoover up every episode of his Radio X podcasts with Robins. Stumbled upon the episode of House of Games in which Mike Bubbins was cruelly robbed of a decanter by the chancer Kirsten O’Brien and that night booked tickets to his show ‘Throwback’ in Leeds. I’ve been totally hooked on this show ever since and I’m working my way through the back catalogue of this pod, replaying the bits that make me howl with laughter (e.g. 40 bags of Pom bears, trip to Wimbledon and the Cas commentator). Cannot recommend highly enough.
Lovely stuff
Every episode has been great. There will always be one line/opinion from Mike which will make me laugh out loud.
