Anthony Day knows his stuff

I have known Anthony for a long time. He is an eloquent speaker and really knows about sustainability. I will be recommending this podcast to students wanting to get into this field a it is a quick way to understand the issues. Keep the regular podcast Anthony - it is great content!

Green but increasingly Red

Anthony Day has a practical and wide-ranging knowledge of what citizens and communities can do to resist the degradation of our world as we struggle with waste, overpopulation and those who profit by denying that climate change is happening. The back-catalogue contains a lot of guests who are well qualified to address these problems, in terms of their position and knowledge.

In recent months the podcast has become increasingly political, and perhaps this reflects the ground that has been lost but I for one find it distasteful. This is a podcast that used to report on how companies could find good economic reasons to clean up their act, and how individuals could still do good things to reduce environmental strain, regardless of which pack of jokers currently inhabit the White House or Downing Street.

Mr Day is butthurt about Brexit: we get it. He’s a socialist in a nation that’s turning away from socialism: we get it. But should that be a recurring theme from the Sustainable Futures Report? Well… that’s up to the podcaster, of course. If you want your eco-news with an increasingly unsubtle left-wing bias, enjoy… just as I enjoyed the older episodes.

Great insights thoughfully delievered

Really enjoying this podcast. Anthony Day knows his stuff and delivers it in an easy and relaxed manner. Each topic seems well researched and is a nice, short, bite sized chunk of info. Highly recommended.
